I really dislike finecast, 6 out of 8 of the shieldbearer models axe was broken even before I got my heavy handed mitts on them, all the vault guards pikes needed a lot of attention and plunging into warm water and reshaping to be any where near straight. Apart from that they take twice as long to prep compared to most metals and I don't really think they are any crisper than the metal equivalent. If it ain't broke don't try and fix it GW

Damn nice lot of Dwarves, haven't actually seen the finecast stuff up close yet.
ReplyDeleteI really dislike the GW Finecast. Great looking army! You can never have too many Dwarves in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteLove the LOTR dwarves! Looking forward to seeing what comes next with the Hobbit.
ReplyDeleteYours look particularly excellent and so many!
Did you have any issues with the Finecast or is it just general dislike?
Wow! Steve the figures look great and your new terrain boards really set them off. SUPERB.
ReplyDeleteGreat looking pictures, very nice figures...
