Llywelyn Ein Llyw Olaf ("Llywelyn, Our Last Leader")
(c. 1223 – 11 December 1282) was the last prince of an independent Wales before its conquest by Edward I
I painted this noble chap for Dan Mersey to use whilst playtesting the medieval rules he is working on. These look like they will be great fun and i am eagerly awaiting there release.
very nice miniatures - which manufactor is this? i didn't know that dan is working on a new ruleset! great to hear. will it be similar to dux bellorum?
ReplyDeleteGreat job there, very nicely done.
ReplyDeleteWell there's lovely. We will make a Welshmun of you yet Bac.
ReplyDeleteFantastic painting Steve, is the shield hand painted or a transfer?
Also love the new header at the top of your blog.
Cheers,
Pat.
Great paint job :-)
ReplyDeleteJason.
Hi Alex, the figure is by Trent miniatures 28mm. I think he was sculpted by Mark Copplestone.
ReplyDeleteDans new rule set is more a large scale skirmish game, very different from Dux, check out his blog for more info www.merseybooks.blogspot.com
Hi Pat, I must admit moving to Wales has been great, i have no plans to return but i dont think i'll ever lose my London accent!
